Trace Relatives From Other Countries Tracing or location services are provided to people in the community who have been separated from their relatives (who are citizens of other countries) as a result of war, civil disturbance, natural disaster, or changing world conditions over which an individual has no control. Red Cross staff may be contacted about the location and welfare of relatives who are citizen of other countries.

Trace Relatives Travelling Abroad For information about an immediate family member who is an American citizen travelling in a foreign country or on a temporary assignment in a foreign country affected by natural disaster, war or civil unrest, you must contact the Citizens Emergency Center of the United States Department of State in Washington D.C.
